Plaint filed under Order VII Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure read with Section 55 of the Copyright Act and Order IV Rule 1 of the Original Side Rules praying for a decree and judgment on the following terms :

a) Permanent injunction restraining the first defendant, its men, agents or servants or anyone claiming through them from in any manner infringing the copyrights assigned to the plaintiff under its agreement with the first defendant dated 20.05.1997 and 22.08.1998 in respect of the Tamil feature film "Chinna Rajaa" either by releasing the film without first giving the plaintiff the prints for exploitation as per the agreed terms or in any other manner;

b) Permanent injunction restraining the second defendant from releasing to anyone other than the plaintiff, any prints of the Tamil feature film "Chinna Rajaa" produced by the first defendant for overseas theatrical exploitation excluding India and for exploitation over terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, Cable TV, Cable Pay TV and Satellite Pay TV, direct to user, laser disc, video, compact disc video, digital video disc and multimedia including Doordarshan India terrestrial TV and c) direct the defendants to pay the costs of the suit.
