ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to cancel the pattas issued in favour of the 4th respondent.
2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse orders are passed against the 4th respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
3. The petitioner had earlier given a representation on 09.01.2025 to the respondents 1 to 3 seeking for cancellation of pattas issued in favour of the 4th respondent for the properties morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. However, as seen from the said representation, the petitioner has sought to cancel only one patta instead of two pattas, which are standing in the name of the 4th respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to give a fresh representation seeking for cancellation of patta Nos.6636 and 7187 for the properties morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition standing in the name of the 4th respondent and a direction may be issued to the 3rd respondent, who is the competent authority, to dispose of the said representation after giving due consideration to the supporting documents submitted by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the liberty sought for by the petitioner is granted and a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent or any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent seeking for cancellation of patta Nos.6636 and 7187 standing in the name of the 4th respondent for the properties morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation within the stipulated time, the 3rd respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent or any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
8. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
