ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner in the permanent post of Marker, Office Assistant or in any other suitable post in the time scale of pay with effect from his initial date of appointment on 02.06.1997 with all consequential service and monetary benefits and arrears. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the material placed before this Court. 3.

The petitioner was appointed as Marker on consolidated pay in the fourth respondent school on 02.06.1997 and he was appointed by the Parents-Teachers Association. Though the name of the petitioner was recommended by the fourth respondent for regularization, he was not

appointed through employment exchange as such, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered. Further, there was no post in the name of "Marker" in the fourth respondent school. 4.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the petitioner is no where working right now, as per the proceeding in Na.Ka.No.4487/A1/2022 dated 26.09.2023, passed by the third respondent. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
