ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of his representation dated 20.12.2022 requesting cancellation of patta granted in favour of the respondents 3 and 4, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which is now standing in the name of the respondents 3 and 4. For the said purpose, he had submitted a representation dated 20.12.2022. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent in this writ petition is dispensed with.

7. No prejudice will be caused to the official respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections if any from the respondents 3 and 4 as well as any other party whom the official respondents deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta, which is presently standing in the name of the respondents 3 and 4, after hearing objections if any from the respondents 3 and 4 as well as any other party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
