PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioners at their residence.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.
3. It is seen from the records that an FIR has been registered against the son of the petitioners is shown as an accused in Crime No.1 of 2019 for an offence under Section 376 of IPC. The petitioners are the parents of the said accused person. The respondent police is said to be continuesly harassing the petitioners in the name of enquiry. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.
4. It is an admitted case that the petitioners are not accused in the above said Crime Number. They cannot be harassed in the name of the enquiry. If the respondent police needs to enquire the petitioners, proper summons must be issued to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioners and only thereafter, they can be called for enquiry.
5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above directions.
