PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police to register the FIR on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.06.2021 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the FIR on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.06.2021 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 23.06.2021 and C.S.R.No.398/2021 assigned on 25.06.2021. The counter complainants Shanthi, Kannappan and Rajesh have not called for enquiry and no action has been taken. Hence, filed this present petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate submits that apart from lodging the complaint, the petitioner had also sent a copy of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the complaint to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, which was received by C.No.224/21 and enquiry is pending. In any event, the enquiry would be completed within a period of three weeks. 4.Considering the submissions and on perusal of materials, this Court directs the second respondent i.e. the Inspector of Police, Puzhal Police Station, Chennai to complete the enquiry, within a period of three weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
