ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

2. The defacto complainant is the petitioner before this Court and she seeks a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial in C.C.No.4208 of 2010 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai, expeditiously.

3. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accused have filed an application in Crl.M.P.No.671 of 2010, which is pending from 2010.

4. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that one of the accused (A5) is absconding.

5. In these circumstances, the respondent police is directed to execute warrant expeditiously for arresting A5 or inter-alia take steps to have the case split up as against the said accused who are facing trial. Further, a direction is issued to the trial Court to dispose of the discharge applications within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed with the trial as expeditiously as possible. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
