Considering the limited prayer sought for notice to the respondent is deemed unnecessary.
2. It is seen from the proceedings that the original petition in O.P.No.2907 of 2014 filed by the husband seeking divorce is pending for almost 7 years. It is also stated that the wife was set exparte once and on her application, the exparte order has been set aside.
3. Mrs.Sudha Ramalingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the wife filed O.P.No.4198 of 2015 seeking restitution and M.C.No.292 of 2021 seeking maintenance. All these proceedings are pending on the file of the VII Additional Family Court, Chennai.
4. Considering the fact that the Original Petition itself is 7 years old now, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with a direction to the VII Additional Family Judge, Chennai to dispose of the two Original Petitions in Page No.2/4
O.P.Nos.2907 of 2014 and 4198 of 2015 and M.C.No.292 of 2021 within a period of nine (9) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Since it is stated that the husband is in United States and his travel may depend on the pandemic situation, the Family Court is also required to explore the possibilities of having the proceedings done through video conference, wherever it is necessary.
