ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conferencing) This petition has been filed to direct the to direct the 2nd respondent Police to not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that they have sent a representation on 04.01.2022, stating that the 1st petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and one S.Kavishree were running a Finance and Chit Company namely "Sri Velavan Auto Finance & Chit Funds and thereafter there was some misunderstanding between them and they got separated and divided their liabilities and shares in respect of Finance. The 1st petitioner is only the partner of the finance company and she was not involved in the chit company business. Now, the said Kavishree and her husband Saravanagopal have defaulted in making chit payment to the satisfactory and there have been a lot of complaints and the petitioners were called for enquiry by the respondent police, the petitioners have also appeared before the respondent police and gave explanation that the petitioners were not aware of the chit business run by the said Kavishree and her husband. Despite the said explanations, the petitioners are unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police. Hence the petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as on date, there is no case or C.S.R. pending against the petitioners.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
