Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 04.08.2017, in accordance with law

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2017, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the long pendency of the representation, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

4.Mr.T.M.Pappiah learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2017, and pass orders, in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
