Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2015 and 07.02.2017 and accordingly direct the respondents to fill up the vacancy in the post of Revenue Assistant which has arisen in the third respondent's Municipality on 30.11.2017 by strictly following the Tamil Nadu Municipal General Service Rules 1970 by preparing a panel of promotion from amongst the

eligible candidates and accordingly promote the petitioner if he is within the zone of consideration.

ORDER
