ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition seeks for expeditious disposal of FCOP.No.468 of 2020, on the file of the Family Court at Thiruvannamalai. 2.The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband. The

petitioner had filed FCOP No.468 of 2020 invoking Section 13(1)(i)(a) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. For the purpose of disposal of this Revision, the details of the petition and counter are unnecessary. 3.The husband had filed the counter to the FCOP No.468 of 2020 on 27.12.2021. Thereafter, the matter was posted for trial. The wife had entered the witness box and filed the proof affidavit on 19.10.2022 and marked Ex.P1 to Ex.P7. From that day onwards, the petitioner is in the witness box and the matter is sought to be prolonged by filing one application after another. In fact, an application has been filed by the husband pleading as to who is the counsel that should be engaged by the wife. Such kind of unique applications are unknown in civil law. It is not for an Advisory to dictate as to who the other side should engage as a counsel.

4.Be that as it may, the learned Family Judge at Thiruvannamalai is requested to dispose of all the interlocutory applications pending before him within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The fact that interim applications are pending need not deter the Court from taking up the matter for trial. The arguments in the interlocutory applications and the evidence in the FCOP can go side by side. The FCOP

itself should be disposed of within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of this order. No costs.
