O R D E R

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are accused in Crime No.1599/2014 and this petition is filed to transfer the investigation in the said crime number to CBCID for proper and thorough investigation. He further submitted that after the Anticipatory Bail was granted by this Court to the petitioners, when they went to the Metropolitan Magistrate to surrender and offer surety, they were attacked by unknown persons and thereafter, whenever they went to appear before the respondent police to abide the condition, the petitioners were attacked by unknown persons and the complaint given by the petitioners to the respondent police were not taken seriously and therefore, the respondent police may not investigate the case properly. He further submitted that Mr.R.Kannan, the then Inspector of Police, F-2 Egmore Police Station, is hand in glove with P.Ravi @ Ravikumar and his brother, P.Rajasekaran, and at their instance only, the police are acting and therefore, the case has to be investigated by CBCID. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. I am unable to accept the contention of th learned counsel for the petitioners. A perusal of the petition makes it clear that no allegations are made against the police officials who are investigating the case and the allegation was made against only R.Kannan, who is admittedly placed under suspension and is not incharge of the investigation. Except making allegations against Mr.Ravi @ Ravikumar and his brother Rajasekaran stating that the respondent police is acting at their behest, no allegations are made for transferring the case from the respondent police and I find no merit in the case.

3. In the result, the petition is dismissed.
