After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT When the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant submitted that he is not pressing the appeal.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the appellant, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is settled as not pressed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
