O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN,J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, by the father of the detenu, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the 2nd respondent police, to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely, P.Thulasamma, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition had been listed for hearing, Mr.V.M.R.Rajentren, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents, had placed before this Court, an order passed by the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, relating to the detenu, in Crime No.F2 Egmore PS 964/15. He had further submitted that as per the order passed by the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, the detenue, who is a minor, is in the custody of the Government Observation Home for Girls, Kellys, Chennai-600 010. He had further submitted that the matter is listed before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, today.

3. In such circumstances, we find it appropriate to close the Habeas Corpus Petition, as no further orders are necessary. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. However, it goes without saying that it is open to the petitioner to seek her remedies, if any, before the Court concerned, in the manner known to law.
