O R D E R
The petitioner, K.Sivakumar, has filed this petition, seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider his appeal No.Na.Ka.826/2015/A.1 dated 04.08.2015 and dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been appointed as Sales Man by the District Manager vide order dated 27.11.2003. Subsequently, he was transferred by the District Manager, TASMAC Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation/the second respondent herein to the shop No.3819, Bhavani, Erode District. Due to leg fracture, he had taken leave for a long period. After recovery from the fracture, while he returned back to the work, the Assistant Manager orally instructed him to join the District Sales Department for a short period. On the assurance given by him that he would be allotted to TASMAC shop, the petitioner could not contact the officials for allotment. representations to the second respondent for allotment of TASMAC shop. After the second respondent passed the termination order dated 10.07.2015 and also seized order of caution deposit for a sum of Rs.15,000/-, which was paid by the petitioner, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 04.08.2015. But there is no response from the respondents. Therefore he is before this Court.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 4.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 04.08.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
