O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Cr.No.616/2014.

2.The Complaint was given by the US Consulate General, Rayapettah, Chennai to respondent police on the ground that the petitioners have produced certain fate documents, at the time when they were called for interview for processing the Visa applications. Based on the complaint, an FIR was registered in the year 2014 and till date, no final report has been filed. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR is being kept pending from the year 2014 and there is absolutely no respondents from the consulate till date and therefore, the petitioners are put to undue auction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation at this stage. However, there shall be direction to the 1st respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is also closed.
