This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to conduct investigation in Crime No.4 of 2016 and file a final report.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that in Crime No.4 of 2016, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukazhukundram and the same was also taken on file as PRC No.19/2017.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
