O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for transfer the investigation in Crime No.115 of 2016 pending investigation on the file of the 7th respondent police i.e., the Station House Officer, "D" Nagar Police Station, Puducherry to any other investigation Agency for further investigation. 2.Heard Mr.Prakash Adiapadam, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.D.Bharatha Chakravarthy, Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. The only ground raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner seeking for transfer of investigation is that he lodged a complaint before the fourth respondent on 20.09.2014 and that, there is no much progress in the investigation.
4. Today when the matter was called, learned Mr.D.Bharatha Chakravarthy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that if a time limit is fixed for filing final report, the same will be complied with.
5. Taking into account of the fact and also the submissions made by the respective counsels , there shall be direction to the 7th respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.115 of 2016 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Such an investigation shall be monitored by the Superintendent of Police (South) Pondicherry.
6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands ordered.
