This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and registered the case on the complaint given by the complainant/petitioner dated 06.05.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a subscriber of unregistered Chit company run by one Jothilakhsmi. In this regard, the petitioner has to be paid Rs.2,53,000/- by the said Jothilakhsmi. However, the said Jothilakshmi has not paid the amount. Therefore, the petitioner gave a complaint before the respondent police on 06.05.2022., however, till now, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Therefore, present petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted basis of petitioner's complaint dated 06.05.2022, enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on the ground that the issue involved between the parties is civil in nature.
