ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to to direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners as Over Head Tank Pump Operator.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the material placed before this Court. 3.

All the petitioners have been appointed as Over Head Tank Pump Operator by their respective Village Panchayat Presidents. Now they sought for regularization of their service in the said post. They claimed regularization as per G.O.Ms.No.22, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 28.02.2006, thereby ordered to regularize the service of the daily wage employees, who have rendered ten years of service as on 01.01.2016, in the government departments alone. Wherein the petitioners are working in the Village Panchayats and they are not daily wage Nominal Muster Roll servants. They are getting honorarium from the village panchayat funds as such they are not eligible to be brought under the ambit of the above said government order.

Therefore, the request made by the petitioners cannot be considered and the writ petition itself devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
