PRAYER : This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police to take further action on the petition the complaint dated 03.12.2019 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mailam Police Station, Villupuram District vide CSR.No.856/2019. ORDER

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint, CSR.No.856/2019 was given and conducted a preliminary enquiry and thereafter, the said complaint was closed on 11.01.2020.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was not called for enquiry and the closure report was not intimated to the petitioner.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances, this petition is closed. The respondent is directed to send intimation with regard to the closure report pertaining to the petitioner's complaint within a week from the date of receipt of copy of this order by registered post. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under law.
