PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, to enlarge the petitioner on interstate Anticipatory Bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.0600 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police, Arthungal Police Station, Alappuzha District, Kerala State. O R D E R

The petitioner is apprehending arrest by the second respondent herein for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 36 of the IPC and 66D of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008, in Crime No.0600 of 2024, seeking interstate anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged offence; that he is not named in the FIR, and since the respondents are seeking certain personal details of the petitioner, he apprehends arrest and seeks interstate anticipatory bail. 2/6

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent.

4. Though notice has been ordered on 30.01.2025 and served on the second respondent, there is no representation for the second respondent. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent has not seriously objected.

5. Considering the nature of the allegations, this Court is inclined to grant interim interstate anticipatory bail to the petitioner for a period of two weeks to enable the petitioner to approach the Court in Kerala for appropriate remedy.

6. Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner for a period of two weeks, on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Tiruvallur, within a period of seven days from the date on which the order copy is made ready and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned 3/6

Magistrate. Further, within two weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner may approach the competent Court and seek appropriate relief.

7. The order granted by this Court shall remain in force for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or until such time regular orders are passed by the appropriate Court, whichever is earlier. Failure on the part of the petitioner to comply with the order within the time frame fixed by this Court, the order shall stand, automatically, cancelled. 8.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
