This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.1240 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police viz., The Inspector of Police, Suramangalam Police Station, Salem District and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after completion of investigation, the case is referred as mistake of fact and RCS notice No.18 of 2014 was served and the same was closed on 13.12.2014.

3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
