ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to issue patta to the petitioner house comprised in survey No.73/4 situate at Nandhivadi Village, Vickravandi Taluk, Villupuram District based on the application dated 15.11.2007.

2.The petitioner has earlier submitted a representation to the first respondent on 15.11.2007 and the first respondent forwarded the representation to the third respondent. 3.This Court is unable to issue any positive direction based on the representation dated 15.11.2007. 4.Having regarding to the limited scope of the prayer, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, is inclined to issue a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the third respondent relating to issuance of patta.

The third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same on the basis of various executive orders of the Government regarding issuance of house site patta to the eligible persons within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before considering the request of the petitioner, the third respondent should conduct the inspection of the said land. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
