This Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.3/2013, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sriperumbudur. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In the matrimonial dispute between the parties, HMOP.No.43 of 2012 was filed by the wife, seeking divorce. Subsequently, on Appeal in C.M.A.No.2 of 2012, pending before the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, a compromise memo was recorded on 06.01.2014. In the said memo of compromise, the wife agreed to not press the complaint given by her in Chegalpattu Police Station on 28.09.2013 and Chegallpattu All Women Police Station on 30 & 31.10.2013, she has also stated that the complaint stands withdrawn as on 06.01.2014.

3.In view of the specific statement made by the wife in the memo of compromise, continuation of proceedings in C.C.No.3 of 2013 has become futile.

4.In this view of the matter, C.C.No.3 of 2013, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur stands quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
