O R D E R

Earlier, this Court by an order dated 18.01.2019 directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's application filed under Sec.28-A of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 for re-determination of amount of compensation on merits. Since the order was not complied within a stipulated period, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent submitted that, on 18.11.2020, the respondent/Collector had passed an order vide No.Na.Ka.6573/2008/A1 referring the matter.

3. Recording the above submissions, the order passed by this Court is duly complied with. Hence, no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
