(through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the M.C.No.11 of 2013 against the petitioners, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ootacamund, The Nilgiris.

2. Today, when the case was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was some matrimonial dispute between the first petitioner and the respondent herein. The respondent filed the petition in M.C.No.11 of 2017 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestice Violence Act, 2005, against her husband and others before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ootacamund, The Nilgiris and the same is pending. He further submitted that the matter has already been resolved before the Lok Adalat. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioners in this petition has now become infructuous.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous, hence, nothing survives for further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
