This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in Crime No.3485 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, West Tambaram Police Station, Tamabaram and quash the same.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and the same has been closed as mistake of fact.

Under such circumstances, the police is directed to serve R.C.S. notice on the defacto complainant and file a closure report before the concerned Magistrate, so that the defacto complainant gets an opportunity to file protest application.
