Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' application dated 22.03.2021 to cancel the patta dated 10.11.2006 issued to the third and fourth respondents for the property situated at Old No.40, New No.2, Vaigundapuram, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600 031 and to issue a fresh patta in all names of all the owners as per the decree dated 12.01.2009 in O.S.No.7822 of 2009. ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' application dated 22.03.2021 to cancel the patta dated 10.11.2006 issued to the third and fourth respondents for the property situated at Old No.40, New No.2, Vaigundapuram, Numgambakkam, Chennai - 600 031 and to issue a fresh patta in all names of all the owners as per the decree dated 12.01.2009 in O.S.No.7822 of 2009.

Heard Mr.J.Saravana Vel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2021, after issuance of notice to the petitioners as well as the respondents 3 & 4, and after giving opportunity of hearing to both parties, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
