ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2485 of 2021, pending on the file of the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. 2.It is brought to the notice of this Court there was a case and counter in Crime No.7 of 2019 and Crime No.8 of 2019, which was investigated by the 1st respondent. Both the FIRs ended in a final report and it was taken on file by the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in C.C.No.4465 of 2019 and C.C.No.2485 of 2021. 3.The parties reached a compromise and hence, the counter case in C.C.No.4465 of 2019 was quashed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.26211 of 2019 by an order dated 22.11.2023. In view of the same, the present proceedings must also be quashed on the very same ground by taking note of the order passed in the connected petition. 4.In the result, proceeding in C.C.No.2485 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, is 2/4
hereby quashed and accordingly, this criminal original petition stands allowed.
