..Respondent(s) Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to correct the error occurred regarding the extent of property comprised in SF No.158/4 Muthunaickenpatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, as 2.72 Acres instead of 2.60 acres by considering the sale deed dated 05.04.1976 registered in the office of Sub Registrar, Tharamangalam and the representation of the petitioner herein dated 09.12.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the alleged error occurred in the UDR patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.

2. This petitioner claims that she is the owner of the subject property. She seeks for correction in the UDR patta with regard to the extent of the land. She has filed supporting documents along with her representation dated 09.12.2025. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, she has filed the present writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the respondents deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated

09.12.2025 seeking for correction in the UDR patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing objections from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 09.12.2025. No Costs. 27-01-2026 RKM To
