The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to pass orders on their pending representation dated 18.02.2017 requesting them to include their names in the appropriate panel based on the eligibility and seniority and then to promote them to the post of Bio-Chemist by recruitment by transfer.

2. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader, by accepting notice for the respondents, sought eight weeks time to dispose of his representation dated 18.02.2017 on merits.

3. Considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 18.02.2017 of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
