Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta for him in the light of the direction issued by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent vide proceedings No.Oo.Mu.4630/2017/A4 dated 10.10.2017 pursuant to his representation dated 09.10.2017.

Mr.D.Suriyanarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus to issue patta to him based on the direction issued by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent dated 10.10.2017. In this regard, he has also sent a representation dated 09.10.2017 to the respondents.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the 2nd respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 2nd respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
