Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 23.03.2015 to depute the Taluk Surveyor to demarcate the boundaries of the land in Survey No.169/2 situated in the Village of V.Puduvai, Villupuram Taluk & District, and on that basis issue House Patta in his name. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given the representation to the respondents for deputing the Taluk Surveyor to demarcate the lands, so far, the respondents have not deputed any Taluk Surveyor to demarcate the lands. 5.

Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 to depute the Taluk Surveyor to demarcate the boundaries of the lands and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
