ORDER

The civil revision petition is filed seeking a direction to Principal District Munsif Court, Poonamallee to dispose of OS.No. 71 of 2025 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein filed a suit seeking declaration that plaintiff is the legally wedded wife of the deceased Ayyappan Rengasamy and for consequential mandatory injunction directing the 2nd defendant to remove the name of the 1st defendant and include the name of the plaintiff as wife in the Death Certificate of late Ayyappan Rengasamy dated 31.12.2024.

3. A perusal of the e-court status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that defendants were set exparte and the suit was posted for recording of exparte evidence on 25.02.2026. The 2nd defendant was set exparte only on 09.02.2026 and the matter stands adjourned to 25.02.2026 for recording exparte evidence.

4. Taking into consideration the 2nd defendant was set exparte only on 09.02.2026, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to the Trial court for speedy disposal. Now, the matter stands adjourned to 25.02.2026 for recording of exparte evidence and the trial court shall dispose of the suit in due course.

5. With this observation, the civil revision petition stands dismissed. No costs.
