Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to furnish the details of consumption units used and charges in respect of the service connection No.219-009-182 of the residential house bearing Door No.5/46, School Street, Periyathellore Village and Post, Usoor via, Vellore District632105 from December 2015 to February 2017 to the petitioner to enable him to pay the same and restore the service connection permanently.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to furnish the details of consumption units used and charges in respect of the service connection No.219-009-182 of the residential house bearing Door No.5/46, School Street, Periyathellore Village and Post, Usoor
via, Vellore District-632105 from December 2015 to February 2017 to the petitioner to enable him to pay the same and restore the service connection permanently.
2.The petitioner's service connection has been disconnected on the premise of non-payment of the electricity charges. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that he has neither put on notice nor intimated about the payment required to be paid. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that a sum of Rs.6,039/- is required to be paid towards the current consumption charges and Rs.7,010/- is required to be paid towards the current consumption deposit. It is further submitted that if these payments are made, restoration of electricity connection would be made.
4.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is also agreeable for the same.
5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the respondents to restore the electricity connection to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of aforesaid payment being made by the petitioner.
