O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the directing the 4th respondent to transfer the patta in favour of the petitioner name and the petitioner gave application No.2022/0103/32/393351 dated 20.04.2022.

2. The petitioner made a patta transfer application on 20.04.2022 through online to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar and in order to consider the same, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition. Heard Mr.M.Murugesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.N.Senthilselvi learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. Learned Government Advocate would submit that the said application would be considered on merits and in accordance with law and orders to that effect would be passed within a time limit that may be prescribed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the stand of the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. 2 / 4

"That there shall be a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 20.04.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon with regard to the plea raised therein after hearing the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
