Appellant is present and Mr.D.Bhaskaran, learned counsel for appellant is also present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The appeal in M.C.O.P.No.4338 of 2002, pending on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (In the III Court of Small Causes) Chennai, has been referred to Lok Adalat for consideration today. 2.The appellant is the National Insurance Company Limited, assisted by Mr.D.Bhaskaran, learned counsel. The petitioner is the first respondent in

this appeal.

3.The Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.1,10,818/- in MCOP.No.4338 of 2002, on its file. In this appeal, the matter is settled for the awarded amount along with accrued interest there on for being paid to the claimant/appellant.

4.In view of the said settlement, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of. No order as to costs.
