Based on the vigilance report, the petitioner was transferred from Krishnagiri to Namakkal EDC by an order dated 22.09.2010. Pursuant to enquiry, as the charges were not proved, based on the enquiry report dated 23.07.2012, the charges were dropped vide proceedings dated 27.05.2013. Thereafter, on the petitioner's request he was re-transferred from Namakkal EDC to Krishnagiri EDC, but he was placed at the end of the seniority list. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed application to the respondent for re-fixation of his seniority and the same was rejected by the third respondent by a proceedings dated 21.06.2014. Again the petitioner made another application and the same was also rejected by the third respondent on 22.12.2017. Challenging the rejection orders, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 09.01.2018 and the same was not considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Mr.Fakkir Mohideen, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondents is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 09.01.2018 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
