ORDER

(DELIVERED BY P.N.PRAKASH, J.) This petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu Ramesh, son of Periasamy, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she got married to the detenu on 3.2.06 and out of the wedlock two children were born. It is further averred by the petitioner that due to matrimonial discord with the detenu, she is living at her parental house on and of. Whileso, the detenu went for his job on 8.2.15 and, thereafter, did not return back. In this connection the petitioner, after a long search, unable to locate the detenu, lodged a complaint with the police. Inspite of the complaint, the police authorities are not taking any steps to trace the detenu and, therefore, the present petition is filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. When the matter was taken up, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor submits that the detenu, Ramesh, was produced before this Court on 20.07.2015 and, thereafter, the parties were referred to Mediation Centre.

5. It is evident from the report of the Mediation Centre that the detenu as well as the petitioner appeared before the Mediation Centre on 21.7.15 and the matter stands adjourned. In view of the fact that the detenu has been secured and produced, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. Accordingly, this petition stands closed.
