Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 11.07.2022 and 21.10.2022 and to disburse the total bill amount of Rs.93,36,932.00 to the petitioner for the work executed [Strengthening of the road from Vadakarai to Singarathoppur Road Km.0/0-1/200, Strengthening of the road from mookanur - Harur road to Vadakarai road via Allalapatti road km.0/0-2/20, Strengthening of the road from Mookanur - Harur road to Vadakarai road Km.0/0-2/20] as per the work order in proceedings in Roc.No.1610/2020/R2 dated 26.02.2021 on the file of the second respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 11.07.2022 and 21.10.2022 and to disburse the total bill amount of Rs.93,36,932.00 to the petitioner for the work executed as per the work order in proceedings in Roc.No.1610/2020/R2 dated 26.02.2021 on the file of the second respondent. 2/5

2. The case of the petitioner is that despite the work allotted to petitioner has been completed and defect liability period is also over and bills have been submitted, the amount towards the work completed has not been paid by the respondents. Therefore, seeks a direction to the respondents to disburse the total bill amount to the petitioner.

3. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submitted that they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Orders on merits.

4. In such vie of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
