... Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for wilfully disobeying the orders passed in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.34752 of 2022 dated 18.03.2024.

of 2022 etc., batch, thereby directing the respondents to sanction retirement benefits by counting the period of service rendered by the petitioners in their respective posts including the period of break in service with payment of revised pension and other retirement benefits within a period of twelve weeks. 2.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with. He further submitted that out of 17 petitioners, the orders have been passed for 14 petitioners and in respect of rest of the three petitioners, the orders are pending.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the orders are only in paper and no retirement benefit has been disbursed to the petitioners.

At that juncture, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the amount will be disbursed within a period of six weeks.

In view of the above submissions, the respondents are directed to disburse all the retirement benefits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order failing which, all the contempt petitions shall revive automatically.
