(Order of the Court was delivered by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the petitioner's daughter had gone missing from 06.12.2023 and he could not look out her whereabouts, he gave a complaint to the 2nd respondent police on 07.12.2023, which came to be registered in Crime No.563/2023 under the caption 'Woman Missing'.
2. The petitioner's daughter is 19 years old. During the last couple of hearings, we had referred the petitioner's wife and her daughter to the Mediation Centre, hoping that they would come to an amicable settlement among themselves. However, the petitioner's daughter had not participated in the mediation.
3. Today, when the matter was called, the petitioner's daughter, who is present before us has also expressed that she does not want to participate in any further mediation. Since the petitioner's daughter, who is a major, has taken a conscious decision and also claims that she is not under any illegal custody, we are unable to entertain the prayer sought for in the present 2/4
Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
