The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call the records of the respondents in G.O.Ms.No.71 Finance (Salary Section) Department dated 26.02.2011 as arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to grant the salary benefits and emoluments as granted under G.O.Ms.No.450 Finance (Salary Section) Department dated 31.12.2010.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought in this writ petition has become infructous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the petitioner's counsel, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 05.07.2022 vm Index :
