3.The learned Special Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel appearing for the Mettur Municipality would submit that insofar as W.P.Nos.11715, 11716, 11718 to 11720 of 2013 are concerned, interest has been paid and the relief sought for in these writ petitions have been complied with. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel appearing for the Mettur Municipality would further submit that insofar as W.P.Nos.11717 and 11721 of 2013 are concerned, during 2/4

the pendancy of these writ petitions, the petitioners in these writ petitions have died. However, if the legal heirs of the petitioners in these writ petitions make representation to the respondents, interest will be paid to the legal heirs.

5.Recording the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel appearing for the Mettur Municipality, these writ petitions are closed.
