The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.12.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 43(a), 66, 66D of IT Act and Sections 409 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.11 of 2023, seeks bail.

2.It must be stated that the petitioner was not immediately remanded but had been issued with the notices to participate in the enquiry under Section 41(A) Cr.P.C. However, he did not participate and did not give full information and filed anticipatory bail petition before the Sessions Court Tiruppur, which was dismissed on 20.10.2023. He then filed two petitions seeking anticipatory bail and both the petitions had been dismissed. He was then remanded to custody on 13.12.2023. 3.It is the case of the prosecution that a complaint had been received from the Assistant Manager, TACTV, in Tiruppur, wherein, it had been stated that the said TACTV is operating under the Social 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

smv Security Scheme of the Tamil Nadu Government at the District Collectorate Office, Tiruppur. It is stated that there was a transfer of money through a fake website namely http://doctoresevai.in/ and it is stated that the petitioner who was working as a contract employee to oversee the E-Seva centre, by this fake website collected unauthorizedly money from the public. It is also stated that investigation is at nascent stage and has to proceed further.

4.Taking all these factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
