ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents police, not to harass the petitioners without any basis.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the defacto complainant Naveen Karthikeyan's father is a retired Additional Superintendent of Police, due to which, the respondent police are showing keen interest and indulging in civil dispute. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaint of Naveen Karthikeyan to the Commissioner of Police, the same was forwarded to the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the complaint was enquired into. second petitioner had appeared for the enquiry and given undertaking that he shall appear as and when called and thereafter, now, terms the same as harassment and has filed this petition on 06.01.2022.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the second petitioner had appeared on 12.12.2021 and it is not disputed. He further submitted that the second petitioner will appear before the respondent police on any given date. 5.In view of the same, the second petitioner to appear and give his explanation that the dispute is a civil dispute before the third respondent police on 01.02.2022 and the third respondent to conclude the enquiry within a period of two weeks thereafter. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
