ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.12.2025 and the reminder representation dated 05.01.2026 and to grant permission and to give adequate police protection to conduct Pongal Festival Progamme to be held on 17.01.2026 in Chinnavalayam Village, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Jayankondam,

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent had agreed to give permission to conduct Pongal festival and hence, he would submit that the Writ Petition may be closed.

3. In view of the above submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition [Criminal] stands closed. 12-01-2026
