ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 47, 294(b), 353 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.2 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners along with the other persons are said to have entered into the police station and threatened the defacto complainant and abused in filthy language and also preventing to do their duty. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not indulged any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the petitioners herein along with other persons entered into the police station and threatened the police official and abused him in filthy language and also preventing him to discharge his duties. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioners along with others are said to have threatened the police official and also abused him in filthy language and that to prevent the police official to discharge his duties, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
